Educational ERP system for schools presented in Slavonski Brod


On Friday, October 16th, 2015, a project which includes an educational ERP system developed by Evolva was presented at a press conference held at high school Matija Antun Reljković in Slavonski Brod. A business software is very important component of this project which aims to introduce ICT teaching methods in curriculum as well as interdisciplinary activities in order to obtain relevant vocational and entrepreneurial skills.

The project "An interdisciplinary curriculum of vocational schools" is, as the first of its kind in Croatia, financed by the EU grant "Modernisation of school curriculum in vocational schools" in Operational Programme "Human Resources Development". Partners in this project are three schools from different parts of Croatia - High school Matija Antun Reljković from Slavonski Brod will produce fruit and vegetable products, High school for design, graphic arts and sustainable construction Split will make visual identity of the product, while Gospodarska škola Varaždin will launch the product to the market.

Special emphasis is on the e-learning method in the Training firm where students will use ERP system which is being developed by Evolva. Branislav Stambolija, the head of the development team in Evolva, explained that the business information system will enable students to perform business activities through the system with an educational touch to learn, but also to get familiar with operating the business system in real conditions.

Together with representatives of the project's partners, the conference was attended by Anica Vukašinović and Dubravka Markovic, the head of the administrative department for education in Brodsko-posavska county, City of Slavonski Brod. A TV report about the conference can be seen below.
