Round table as part of the conference Education for entrepreneurship


On Saturday, September 26, 2015, a first workshop for the exchange of experience and teacher training within the project 3P - I plan, act, promote! was held at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin. The workshop was in the form of a round table moderated by Ksenija Vuković as part of the international scientific conference Education for entrepreneurship, and where as a representative of entrepreneurs participated Matija Tomašković, founder and CEO of Evolva.


On behalf of educational institutions, Ljerka Sedlan Konig from the Faculty of Economics in Osijek as a representative of higher education, the principal of the Economic School Varaždin Katica Kalogjera Novak as a representative of secondary school education, and a representative of the regional government Miroslav Huđek, Head of the Department for education, culture and sports in Varaždin county, participated at the Round table. The discussion on this popular issue was supported by 30 participants who presented their experiences trying to indicate the difference between entrepreneurship and enterprising individuals, and emphasize the importance of adequate education for the development of entrepreneurs.

Evolva is currently involved as an IT partner in two projects that have been initiated by high-education institutions from Varaždin region. Those projects are Stand4INFO - The development of higher education standards for occupational qualification and curriculum based on the Croatian Qualifications Framework in the field of information technology, with Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin as a project coordinator, and the other project is The interdisciplinary curriculum of secondary vocational schools whose coordinator is Economic School Varaždin.
