A round table titled Education for employability of graduates in ICT as part of the research project Development of models to support graduates early in their career was held on November 5, 2015, at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin. The round table brought together 40 representatives of students, alumni, teachers, employers and institutions, including Matija Tomašković, the CEO of company Evolva that participates in the project Stand4INFO led by the Faculty of Organization and Informatics.

At the beginning of the Round table prof. Zlatko Erjavec has presented the project Stand4INFO - The development of standards for high education, occupation qualifications and curriculum based on the Croatian Qualifications Framework in the field of information technology in which Evolva helps in creating new education standards. Katarina Pažur Aničić presented the project Development of models to support graduates early in their career. Both of these projects, managed by the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin, are aimed at improving the employability of graduates in the field of information and communication technologies.

After presenting the projects positive examples of cooperation between the academic and business sectors were introduced. Presentations were given by representatives of companies, Vjeran Bušelić, senior lecturer and head of the centre for the IT career counseling at Technical University in Zagreb, Hrvoje Džapo, head of the career centre at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, and Daniel Dadović, head of the Centre for supporting students and career development at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin.

After the introductory presentations a discussion was moderated by prof. Blaženka Divjak, followed by participants' proposals of measures and activities that would contribute to better employability of graduates through mutual cooperation and coordination. By participating in these projects Evolva supports a constructive and continuous communication with educational institutions in order to, according to specific needs and challenges, give its contribution to create and employ quality ICT professionals.
